I rarely watch anymore. I do like Valerie's and Jill's shows, but otherwise, I print out the program guide, circle the shows I think I might like to review and then go online and see what was on.
Cannot take all the hype of some of the hosts and vendors.

The Q has lost its way. I have been watching since CVN and made many, many purchases through the years. However, the time has come to end my purchasing on the Q. I just sent back an item and they only refunded HALF of the orginal charge. HALF!! That's too expensive to review a product and send it back. The Q tells you that there are 30 days to use the item and decide whether or not keep it. But, they also neglect to mention the high cost of the return. It isn't worth my time or money any longer.

I wonder if management would read all of this. Many people state exactly the true qvc.Hosts think they are stars, conpeating for the top.Silly stuff they do,run here, change tops there.A few I cannot watch,an so I turn tv off.Just don't buy much anymore.Yes,its sad not like before.

As for QVC, years ago I did have it on more often, but I often muted it and I'm talking about the 1990's. I found the constant clocks, the idea that we could order pretty much only while the item was on air, even some of the hosts obvious hard sellers or worse, subtle "actors" who were just hard sell in disguise!
But way more than QVC and other retailers have changed, I've changed. Twenty years, give or take 5, I was interested in clothes and jewelry and kitchen gadgets and even a bit of decor. Now? Compared to what I used to spend, I'd say I'm down 95% at least - and that's not just QVC but everywhere I shop in those categories. I definitely don't need as much as I was buying, but I also truly don't even want much!
One example - for years and years, I bought something Honora at least twice a year and often more often. Then just last week I watched Joel and Antonella do a very nice show - I didn't think they were hard sell, they had a mix of new and classic - and the only thing I was tempted to do was sort through my own Honora and decide what I would wear during the next month.
With revenues declining it seems QVC should make some changes....they are down to just a few limited products which have reached their saturation point and that has nothing to do with changing times---
If you flip the channel to QVC and most every time (especially on weekends) see vaccuums, IT Cosmetic, and beauty, beauty, beauty, beauty, Kitchen Aid, mattresses, computers etc--all the clothes are the same style---you arent going to attract viewers!!!, They've grown stale and those SAME products are everywhere locally----Just like Evine became "the watch channel " and most viewers stopped watching.....QVC may be headed in the same direction....
And now not just once or twice is the TSV given a lengthy presentations during the SAME show--now its 3 and 4 times!!!! They have chased me and other viewers away!!!
All most viewers QVC want is some variety in products/programming........![]()
