I was flipping channels earlier and landed on QVC.  A WWC sweater was being presented. I could see straight through it to the top of the model's pants and the full outline of her bra. Over $60 ????

The model in the blue is who I saw. Not a sweater I would wear.

JMO...but the sweater looks like it is too small for the model in blue as well as being thin.

It's supposed to be a lightweight, summer sweater.  That's the intent -- there's nothing wrong with it's quality, not in that regard anyway.  Why sell a regular weight sweater this time of year?

I've purchased a couple of different summer sweaters myself.  One of them from Peace Love World:

@ellaphant   I've seen this type of sweaters in many mall stores. I assume it's the next new thing.

I have a white one I wear w/ a white tank under it. I purchased it last year. A black one is on the way from ordering it online and I have a black tank for underneath.

If I was going out at night, I think I'd do the black one with just a black lacey bra.

So many styles/fads/trends come out each year. Choose the ones you feel comfortable with.
