Re: What happened to Nancy Hornbeck

Like most women over 50 without a contract... they are let go.

That's the new Q.

@hopiYou have no idea what happened between Nancy, and QVC. there are a lot of people over 50 on QVC right now. While I agree we live in youth oriented society it seems QVC does have a balance.

QVC's current problem is too many 50+ers.  My personal opinion,  of course.

Well hon......go watch HSN. Even if they are 50+, you'll never know because they've had so much face work done. A much younger looking set of hosts.

She doesn't need to.

QVC was scheduling her for one or two hours a couple times a week since they dropped live programming on QVC2 in July 2020 when the four other hosts were fired. If her sales were better, she wouldn't have been mainly a QVC2 host, then only a few hours a week on QVC. There were several times that Nancy hosted one hour followed by four hours hosted by Carolyn. Nancy's sales numbers were too low for the salary she was getting as an 11-year employee and they abruptly let her go. QVC even re-scheduled the few shifts in February and March that Nancy was scheduled to host with other hosts before Nancy was allowed to post her goodbye message.
