Re: What earned Susan Graver the #1 Fashion Designer on QVC

I can understand that.  My closet is full of liquid knit.  Love, love the easy care and durability of that fabric.  She's my favorite designer on the Q.

Well, the obvious has already been stated Sales, sales, sales.

I also wonder...did Susan make good contractual deals with the Q, saying how often she'd be on air, have TSV's etc. I'm pretty sure that stuff is negotiated and part of their business deal with each other. And she continues to perform $$$ wise so, yes, that's how.

Also, I've often thought SG cornered the "Chicos" thing but on Q...right when that stretch/nylon, travels well, "easy wear/easy care" knit became a "thing" and so popular for all those reasons above.

My mom loved her things (as well as D&C, Louis, and other brands no longer on Q.) SG tops were flattering on her, and easy as she got older and preferred comfortable, stretch items...with flattering styles, colors & shapes. (Mom was a Chico's fan too, for the same type items.)

I've owned some of Susan's items too, and liked them. Good quality, design details.

Last...Susan is an old school fashion merchant who knows the design terms, still shows up on air to talk (like her style or not) about the design and mfg details. She's truly been passionate and a workhorse, about her brand, for years. She deserves her success.

Susan is so full of herself I can't watch. I bought one pair of her pants and they were 4" too long.  Donated them.

She's been there over 30 years, right? Denim & Co. is probably second. Isaac, Kim, etc. might be more popular but they don't have the time and numbers.

Susan Graver is the best designer on QVC.  Her designs fit great and are up to date.  I like clothing made with polyestor, then made with cotton.  Cotton stretches out and shrinks,  I always find her make up of her frabrics are great. Her Petite clothing fits great.  Her lengths of pants and dresses are perfect.  I can sit and watch her all day. I have lots of her clothing.  Keep up the gerat work.

Re: What earned Susan Graver the #1 Fashion Designer on QVC

I watched Susan with Jen Coffe yessterday. I really felt so bad for her. Jen looked really good wearing Susan's spring, light green pants and top. And I couldn't understand why Susan would choose to wear those dark brown pants with a black tee.

She could have looked beautiful with something else.

Susan is a very hard worker who has stayed very involved with her line. I've watched her since her M-I-L was still alive. She has so much knowledge in clothing that I find her worthwhile to listen to. I believe she's more knowledgeable about design and clothing than anyone else at the Q.

Yes, I know many can't stand her. Of course, she repeats and repeats herself. I suppose after 30 years that happens. I don't buy anything from her anymore, b/c of poly and her prints. I think she deserves credit for her hard wwork, success, and good relationship with hosts, customers and the Q.

@Chucklehead , I've seen her look so much better. So drab for spring fashion, I thought.

@RescueLover  I couldn't even begin to imagine why. First, she's THE most annoying person on here, second her clothes are 95% overpriced polyester, lastly her clothes are mass produced, boring, and predictable. As if she wasn't on enough now, I'm guessing she will be on even more with this, brace yourselves!

@chrystaltree  Of course, she's on practically every single day and multiple times. I call her the "Polyester Princess" sold at high prices IMO.
