I watched both Valerie Shows, and what  a difference having Pat as the host instead of Monifa ! Pats voice is calm, she doesn't interrupt Valerie and she adds pertinent information about the item presented. Monifa failed on all of these points.  I had to mute the show last night.

I wanted to see the H227716 video - Monifa hosting, Valerie drops and breaks the porcelain house.  But it's already been replaced with a Pat James Dimentri video.  Smiley Sad

Couldn't agree more.  Any host whose primary contribution is "I'm so excited!!!" every other minute is just not up to Parr.

I saw the show in progress last night and saw Valerie drop the house.  It would have been different if Monifa would have just laughed and left it at that, but she kept on referring to the faux pas and wouldn't let it go.  So disrespectful.

I know Valerie felt awful.  I felt sorry for her.  She didn't seem to be comfortable with Monifa at all.

Pat is a true professional & knows how to do her job. She is one of the hosts who does not make the presentation all about her.

I am not a mean person.  I want for all of the hosts, and vendors, too, for that matter, to do well.  But geez, every single time I switch the channel just for a minute to see what is on QVC, and Monifa is on, there is always a screw up.  Pronouncing Koolaburra like Kahlua rum, messing up the names of colors of underwear while laughing and blaming it over and over on "vacation brain ", and now this with Valerie.

I watched the show and got sick of hearing about Monfia's new house and how she was going to decorated and what she did last year and her colors and how many of everything she was buying,....I could tell Valerie was being her usual nice and professional self but I think she just wanted to do the show and discuss the itmes which Monifa hardly let Valerie talk.  I also saw poor Valerie drop the item and I think it was just Monfia taking her concentration away.  The show was not an good one but Pat did a great job and Valerie was herself.

Maybe Valerie's drop of the porcelain house was her subtle way of expressing dissatisfaction with the host.  Smiley Happy

As far as Hosts with Valerie P , Rick and Pat are very good matches . I  think Stacey Rusch is the best Host that QVC has on staff. I am not sure if I have seen her Host with Valerie since Stacey mostly Hosts solo . Nancy Yoon is  really trying and she has a pleasant soft voice . Nancy Yoon would be better if she just relaxed . It appears she has incorporated too many prompts from other Hosts like  using a sing song voice in her routine.

During the VPH shows , I prefer to see how she has decorated and  like to hear how she suggests using other items that she sold previously to pair with new items . Let Valerie talk abt current trends in designs .... Hosts need to only makesure we get the item #, dimensions, price and value pay on each item , then they just need to Hush till Valerie finishes her sentences.

Jayne Brown is good with her as well because they bounce ideas to each other on decorating. She loves to decorate and she let her do what she likes. She gave Valerie ideas about some angels and she thanked Jayne for it.
