Today, during the Colors of Gemstones show on QVC2,

QVCs new host broadcasting from Tucson was featured!

This is the (handsome) new QVC host!

Very curious.  I wonder what the significance of the switch is?  Is it a sign of future programming? Will QVC and HSN just meld into one huge, powerful shopping channel??

A Beauty Show on HSN (Beauty Spy) was put on BeautyIQ live.  I suspect that sharing programing and not just products will become the norm.

I didn't see it but I suspect the stations are going to totally merge into one eventually.  None of this makes any sense.

@LTT1  Are you basing this on just hearing a British accent speaking?  In the presentation did someone say it was HSN, or an HSN banner was on the screen?

I ask this because QVC has a new host, Anthony Heywood, who is indeed British.  He started last December; he was a host on QVC-UK for a few years, so he has lots of experience.

Anthony is in Tuscon today at the Gem Show doing remote gem day presentations all day throughout other hosts shows.

So, it appears to me that this was HSN set and hosts, but with a QVC style number.

Interesting. A very good price (I love Prasiolite) and a nice offer perhaps to introduce the QVC viewing audience to the “new” merger?

This is Anthony Heywood, the new QVC host I mentioned.

He was on a set on location in Tuscon, AZ, not HSN.  But perhaps you'll identify someone different.  Please let us know, this is very interesting.

@LTT1: I’m not sure I saw what you saw but they were outside which I assume was in Tucson due to the gem show. Host was British sounding but I think I saw someone post a pic of the this guy as a new QVC host.

I didn’t watch after a quick check so might not be what you’re referring to.

The only HSN host with a British accent is Adam and he hosted his usual Monday night show so he wouldn't have been in Tucson and I doubt it would have been him.
