that's too bad, I always loved shopping it and how much it raised for ovarian cancer.

The event was moved to September and held on Long Island.  Apparently QVC didn't cover it this year. 

Very worthy cause.

QVC was one part of a huge event -  and that event was not repeated in the same way as it had existed.  I believe someone here reported that some parts of that fundraiser ended up in NYC, but all I can say is that there used to be buzz in our local paper here on Long Island.  This year if it was mentioned, I missed it.

I am on LI too, and there was no mention of it anywhere.

I was extremely disappointed the QVC did not support this  event this year.  

More importantly than the wonderful sales on quality merchandise, it helped get the word out for this terrible disease.   Ovarian cancer needs the pr that breast cancer gets.   The more people who are aware of the symptoms, the earlier the detection.  More lives can be saved.
