Re: What Happened to Fri-Yay?

The gentleman with those plugs was Dave James who years back was a host on QVC!
I always liked him. It was fun to see him again.

Now our local TV weatherman is using that silly expression. Hump day is bad enough!

Re: What Happened to Fri-Yay?

For me, it wasn't so much the idea of Fri Yay, but the way it was forced down the customers throat. If JT just could have toned it down some, it wouldn't have bothered me. IMO JT goes over board with everything, I was surprised the Andrew Lessman show wasn't a silly mess, I can't imagine how he would have reacted in a situation like that. Maybe JT knew better.

@hippiechick7897  Great minds think alike.  I was too lazy to change my original post to Fri-nay.

Re: What Happened to Fri-Yay?

I tuned in the second or third week of Fri-Yay and Jane must have used that silly word a dozen times a minute and often in a loud, shrill tone so we are reminded that we are having FUN. I was soon in a "Fri-Daze." Nothing will kill spontaneous fun quicker than an over enthusiastic demand to have it.
