Re: What Did You Think of "Down Home with David"?

I also thought the set would be more subdued, rustic and cozy.  The set was stark, bare and not inviting at all!  Not what I'd call down home.

Like David, but didn't like the show at all.  Watched only bits and pieces of it.  Too boring!

You're exactly right @Jeanbhv.  QVC is not a fly by night outfilt.  They pay a lot of money for marketing to sell their products.  We may not like it but they do know what they are doing.

I think if David watched his show, there would be NO  Happy Dance...Where was the Down Home?   What a bore!

Hey, this is great!!!   First time I've seen the Happy Dance done by someone (or something) that makes a modicum of sense. Middle aged guys doing the HD over macaroni just doesn't ring my bell.

Not impressed with him ever and won't watch the show---same old stuff and showing each days TSV every other hour is a HUGE  turnoff for me-----but then QVC is a drag too--not watching at all anymore!!!

well you would think they would want to be good on the first show, not expect people to just come back in the hope that it will improve. Better products!!
