I watched much more of QVC than usual this past weekend, due to my love for Honora pearls. What I observed during the Honora shows was that Antoinella, Jill and Mary Beth gave presentations that were informative, well-prepared, and product-focused. They provided enough information for me to be able to make a decision as to whether I wanted to purchase. In stark contrast to these three was Lisa. I expected her (being the former "Miss Pearl", or whatever) to be even better. Instead, she basically phoned those presentations in. I felt like she didn't know the items at all, was fumbling for descriptions from her little cheat sheets, and the only contribution she made to each item was to show how good it looked on her, and squeal "LOVE" in that silly, high-pitched sing-song voice. There was very little information provided. So yes, I changed the channel and figured I could find the rest of what I wanted to purchase on the website.
The point of all this is that, to me, Lisa is a one trick pony, and that is to stand in front of the camera and show everyone how it looks on her.
Antoinella, Jill and Mary Beth - very nice presentations!
