Who knows ... maybe I am the only one this ever happened to! ... but I recently received two orders in a single, large box. It was shipped out of the California warehouse to me here in New England. The weird and unexpected thing was that two different categories of items were shipped (a Valerie glass hurricane set and some Denim & Co tops) in the same box ... very unusual.
Well, this all seemed fine until I went to return the tops. Now, keep in mind that even though I had placed two completely separate orders and they were from different categories (Home/Clothing), they all wound up in the same box AND printed on the single order/shipping receipt sent inside the single box. So, when I pulled the prepared "return label" out to fill it out, I noticed that the return cost quoted was $8.95 (not $6.95 for a typical clothing return) AND the bottom portion of the return label (the part that says "return it yourself") actually had the QVC North Carolina warehouse listed as the return destination. I am a long time QVC customer, so I know that normally clothing returns to Pennsylvania and home goods return to North Carolina. I just don't think QVC truly intended for the clothing part of my shipment to be returned to NC. I did go online and print out the proper return label for the t-shirts.
Moral of the story ... to avoid any confusion, always read your return labels and if you get an unexpected combination item shipment and need to return something, be sure to check the return label to be sure it's the right price point and destination for the item you are returning.
