In the last several weeks, I have purchased several high dollar jewelry items on check order. With each item, I changed to credit card within 24-48 hours, only to find once the payment is changed to a credit card, and the card authorized, that the item is put on Waitlist by the next day.

This makes no sense to me, unless credit card orders are given precedence over check orders. Either QVC knows that they have an item in stock, or they do not. You don't carry that many $2000-5,000 jewelry items, so why is this consistently happening.

I love QVC, and would not complain except that it is extremely irritating to have hundreds of dollars tied up for a week until the authorization falls off.

Please stop this practice. It disappoints and angers good customers.
