WHY THREADS ARE POOFED/MOVED

I'd love it if the mods could list a reason why the thread was moved or poofed. It may help some of us learn the rules we may have forgotten.

Even when an explanation is given, e.g. copyrighted, the reason is often arbitrary. Many photos, news text, etc., are copyrighted but still allowed.

I also think more detailed explanations would be helpful.

@Shanus Most of the time they do give a reason. When they don't, I just assume they are extremely busy. Helping people with order issues if they are swamped is, IMO, more important than giving reasons for deleting threads.

'Most' of the time they do, other times there may be more than one reason why a post/thread is removed.

I believe in personal responsibility, we can all refresh our memory of what is/isn't allowed here by reading over the rules occasionally.

Just my thoughts......

You never know how strong you are until being strong is the only choice you have.

@Shanus Reading the community standards might help. That should list what is against rules. I see posts, especially political, that people should know not to post and they do anyway. As someone else pointed out, mods are busy and sometimes it seems they are just babysitting for adults who should know better. Maybe it is the Copyright stuff.

I know! Came upon one "removed" post yesterday and I just wanted to say, WHY??? Heck, maybe the mod just didn't like the post, who knows? We sure don't. Let US make the decision.

@Judaline Pearley is right. It is their board and you committed yourself to follow their rules when you signed up. I have seen you post political threads which are against standards.

I don't feel an explanation is needed as it's usually been very clear to me as to why they have been removed!!!
