I agree with 90% of what you said.......and have you ever watched a show with Kerstin---most of the time it looks like she's come from the beach!!!
I wish QVC would get off the kick that the hosts are our BFFs and have the hosts stick to being pleasant and professional and tell us more about the merchandise and less about their personal lives..............
Now I will disagree with you about Leah I do find her professional and enjoyable to watch. If it was a fashion show you are talking about her hosting she always wears clothes from the show (I hate it when hosts where clothes they own, purchased from other places....it makes it seem like they don't like QVC clothes, and if they don't like them, how can they honestly sell them to customers).....And also Leah has said she talks to QVC's Stylist on what she should wear for the show......and it seems this stylist has everyone wearing things way too small....but that's the fault of QVC's Stylist....But Leah does this for Fashion Shows, I dont know if she picks out clothes for other shows not involving fashions........

I only caught a few minutes of one show Mary Beth was hosting with a host I hadn't seen before......I wonder if it was Katie McGee or if it was one of the new hosts just hired?????????????????? Anyone know?????

Agree Leah will wear clothing from product lines, but not always. Didn't know there was a QVC stylist. If so, those people are not doing their jobs!
Leah regularly appears on shoe and handbag shows in too-tight jeans. Not appropriate for the product lines being sold. Then, she adds those crazy scarves which detract from her pretty facial features.
Leah used to dress in a classic manner and was very attractive. She often wore dress slacks or straight skirts with blazers or sweaters to conceal her waist, hips and thighs. She was a fan of the belted shirt dress, too. These classics helped hide her weight gain. The tight jeans accentuate the negative; any stylist knows that is Lesson #101 when hiding figure flaws.

Love Leah and a great host. She is never offensive and does a professional job.
The stylists of course have to dress them in what they're selling, if I guess they wish so. It seems to be a choice.
A tall curvy girl like Leah does not look good in a long tunic tee with a crop jacket. That's the style, but someone else should wear it. The stylist should not make the host look bad no matter what they're selling.

I've liked Katie from the beginning. She is young but has more classic taste IMHO. She speaks well and isn't frenetic. Elise seemed to have been pushed forward or maybe not; I never watch the beauty shows or Beauty IQ so I wouldn't know if that was an upgrade for her. I hope we see more of Katie in prime time, tho I see her often as I'm an insomniac. In Shawn's absence, I imagine Jennifer will be doing her shows, not a fan. But, I am so glad her hair is styled and it looks lovely; her style has changed as well. Just wish she would stop the squinting.

One time they even brought out one of the Sylists and introduced them on one of the fashion shows. I even wrote a thread complaining how QVC's Stylist were dressing models/hosts----Even Bob Mackie complained that some of the models were all dressed in the same color. I dont think they do a very good job--JMHO
I heard Carolyn mention that the Stylist had told them that you don't want to wear clothing that is loose because it makes you bigger. And that was the explanation given to why some of the hosts/models wore clothes that are too tight---the Stylist suggestions. Personally why doesn't the Stylist tell them to wear clothes that just fit PROPERLY!!!
The worst thing Leah wore was the Brelt (she would wear a belt underneath her breasts--hence the combination belt and bra became a running joke).. And yes I agree I did prefer Leah in classic styles, but now she wears these ill fitting "on trend QVC clothes"................

Mary Nelson was on this morning with Rachel. I happened to see her at the end of the show. I've not seen any of the others.
I have always liked Katie McGee. I don't see her live often but do see her on repeated shows on Q2.
I would totally disagree that Leah and/or Jill are every dressed unprofessionally. I may not like what they are wearing personally but I'd never say there were sloppy looking. When Leah can wear her own clothes, I think she looks great. It's when a Q stylist dresses her for AMS that there are problems.

I may be wrong, but I think that was one of the new hosts just starting. Mary (can't recall last name). (Not Mary from ITKWM) I doubt it was Katie because she hosts alone for a long time now. I like Katie too.

"Brelt"!! That look was AWFUL. Didn't know customers had a word for the look. Creative use of the English language.
