Re: WHEN REPLYING TO A THREAD

@JudyL   That's what I try to remember to do, too. I think it's easier for everyone.

If there are several pages with replies to a thread and I want to add my post, isn't it helpful for me to copy then reply?

Replying to a  post with the person's  nic and then the post they made makes it easier. We don't have to look through several pages to see what the original post was.

How do you reply when it's a long thread?

@Shanus  - When I respond to someone's post, I almost always hit "QUOTE" in the top right of my response so that the person I'm responding to sees their original post as well as those reading can see the post that I'm responding to.  The only time I may not "quote" on a response, is if the original post is a short one or there are few responses.  When someone doesn't "quote," then I have no idea what they are responding to and I'm not going to scroll through lots of posts trying to figure it out.

Re: WHEN REPLYING TO A THREAD

If we're into pages, I click Quote so the post I'm responding to appears. If it's in large font, I reduce it.
