nana--oh I know--I feel the same way too but my very ancient VM at 36 years old is done for, so I am going to buy a new one, I think. Been researching and maybe the Q will have the better price.

This is a 64oz variable with 60+ recipes and smoothie bottle.  

I have the CIA one which looks very similar to this one and I highly recommend the Vitamix if anyone is thinking about it.

Yes, it was so.  Not only that, but it was nothing more than a repeat of a prior TSV, although the host said it was a repeat due to "popular demand" or some such.
