Most of my QVC items come in 5-7 days. Also a postal workers strike in Canada, so I think Lug ships from there, but not sure. I don't have prime, and my Amazon orders have been arriving 3-4 days. 5 Free shipping days from QVC since Thanksgiving, but my items ordered Thursday and Friday already shipped.

@Hopein24 That is annoying. Our PO has steep steps. I use the satellite counter at a grocery store when I can. Our PO had that policy 20 years ago but have since delivered. Town of 5000. Sometimes they were able to hire PO help for Holidays just to deliver packages. My carrier took a different route as too many packages.Subs are hard to find. I had one sub who lived 70 miles away? My Stepdaughter was a carrier 13 years and found a new career after more schooling as tired of the long hours in all weather. She said benefits changed also.
About five years ago carriers demanded larger mailboxes and height requirements to even deliver. I was lucky to find a friend to change my box. Most packages will now fit. Sometimes I wonder how they shoved that stuff in so tight?

Also long waits waiting for my wreath from Val that was to ship the week of the 25th sitting somewhere waiting to be picked up . says it will come on the 4th guess we will see.. it was ready for pick up last wk ... two wks of a wait.. I realize its a busy time of the year but come on... and still not getting return labels that I can give with my gifts .
Q generally ships by parcel post/economy mail...the slowest and lowest priority mail.
If post offices are busy, these sit.
In addition, most of this very low priority mail is transported from place to place by 3rd party shippers...who don't make a trip if it won't be profitable.

There you go. It makes sense. A part of their revenue is from shipping, so they make more money by getting a better rate with carriers, if they have slower pickup and ship times.
That’s great for them, not so much for us, the customer.

I agree. I also agree it depends on the product you order. Some I've noticed ship quicker than others.
if I order from a box store I get it much quicker.

Shipping labels are a big problem for me, i do not like the absence of them.

For me, shipping from QVC has been really mixed. Sometimes, it takes two days; other times, it takes over a week or two. Because of this, I don't shop here for gifts or anything I need quickly. The last item I purchased was in July, and it arrived quickly.

I've ordered more this year than other years--and had to wait a few times, longer than normal----the thing that gets me is not being able to cancel even a few minutes after ordering--- as it goes directly into processing---use to be there are the warehouse full of the stuff that can be shipped by QVC--all up to the vendors now , I guess. I really don't watch much on TV--am tired of the same stuff presented by silly hosts and hopefully, the menopause nonsense will be sooo 2024 and on to something ---do I dare say???---different ????

The smaller places have the fastest delivery (I've found) They seem to get items out quicker. QVC just sits there for a while. Amazon has their fleet of planes, drones and trucks. I found out that many Amazon employees can deliver packages if they are in the same areas/on their way home. They get paid extra (like time and half) to drop off packages.
QVC has extra volume. Not as big as Amazon, but pretty busy. I'm sure they have many people dropping items in packages and sealing them up. Error are bound to happen. But probably most packages arrive correctly.

@UpNorthGorgy "Sometimes I wonder how they shoved that stuff in so tight."
My postal delivery person/s shoved packages into my mail box and broke the inside hardware for the red flag on the box. The mail box was packed so tight, I had to struggle to get stuff out.
Then we got a written official notice that if we put outgoing mail in the box we need a flag. The one they broke off.
Twice we replaced the mail box because of this reason. Now, our new huge mailbox is intact, and we no longer put outgoing mail in there. We take it directly to the PO.
