I bought this one. It empties itself...even cleans the filter. Me lazy? Nah 😜

I've had a bagless Bissell for about 15 years.  I love it.  I sometimes think about getting a new vacume, but mine is still going strong.  I'd never go back to bags.

I just remove the residue container dump it in the garbage, place it back and presto chango I'm done.  Every once in a while I clean the filter underneath the residue canister. The filter up top rarely needs cleaning and if it does I just remove the ball of fuzz and toss it.

@spabar How often do you have to empty the receptacle it empties into?

@vermint I've been using this for about a month in a 2 bedroom condo, and I haven't had to empty it yet. When it's time to empty it, a light will come on.
