VPH's CIJ Anniversary Date

I heard Valerie say on VPH's Christmas in July show at midnight 06/27/21 that she has been with QVC for 28 years. Why is this year billed as her 25th Anniversary?

Valerie isn't someone like Joan Rivers who only had the one show since her QVC premiere. Some QVC vendors like Kenneth Jay Lane or Linda Dano had different programs throughout their time on the network. Valerie had separate hour programs for Heartfelt Home, Heartfelt Holidays, American Home Accents, Home Fragrances, etc. 

 

  • Heartfelt & Handcrafted Home with Valerie Parr Hill debuted September 1993 (renamed Heartfelt Home, then House to Home)
  • American Home Accents with Valerie Parr Hill debuted July 4, 1996
  • Decorating for the Holidays with Valerie Parr Hill debuted Friday, November 8, 1996 (renamed Heartfelt Holidays)
  • Heartfelt Aromas with Valerie Parr Hill debuted February 25, 2002 (renamed Home Fragrances)
