I saw the end of the presentation for this small humidifier and I 

have been looking for one. I went on line, read the product info and 

NOWHERE does it say you need a portable charging device which I don't own.

Received it today and it's useless without one. 

Really QVC?? 

I called the company and was rudely told " I have nothing to do

with QVC or HSN presentations." Wow.

I just watched the video clip, and they showed the cord and said it could be charged on your laptop. 

Wall Plug-ins for these type of cords are pretty cheap. I have a bunch of these types of cords I have gotten with different devices.

@ellaphant    Does it need a charging device or a plug adapter?  Almost all the small appliances I've bought in the past year or so come with a cord with 2 metal ends.  One plugs into the appliance and the other into a block adapter that plugs into an outlet.  I needed so many, I bought a pack of them on Amazon.  They rarely include them because most people already have several.

You could probably pick one up at Wal-Mart or a hardware store.  They're very inexpensive.

Thanks to alll of you for your comments. It does plug into my computer but, it needs to be charged for 3 hours. I just wanted something I could plug in and forget about!
