Re: Upset about lost package. CS made it worse

When returning using the Q label there can be 2-3 wks until it gets back to the Q...you say What?   That's True.

You return your item using the Q label on Monday at the Post Office, in theory it sits at that very post office until Friday and then it moves.  Maybe to a larger post office for sorting and then it actually could sit there for another week.

Yes, this is true.   The label the Q supplies is the "VERY SLOW SERVICE LABEL" although you are paying good money to return the item.

If you want a refund within possibly a week or so, create your own label or take it to the post office and pay for it to ship back.

You will not experience the 2-3 wk delay, that label is the slow moving package label with the least priority.  Yes, I know it's convenient, just slap the label and close the package but be warned, sometimes you are lucky and the package moves, sometimes it just sits there.

I found out the hard way, I don't use the Q label.

Re: Upset about lost package. CS made it worse

THE PACKAGE ARRIVED AT 7:30. It had a correct label. I was told it didn't scan correctly. I suspect the mail person was tired and made an error. Sat. was freezing.

I didn't spendn't spend all that time with a QVC C.S. It was the USPS headquarters. It did get wrong instructions.

If anyone has a problem with USPS the no. is:

800 222 1811. The Q should have that no.

I'd been following the tracking no. religiously.

Boy do Agree!  It happens where i live all the time. (N.Nevada)  Fed ex left y last package (not from Q) outside my gate in driveway. Snow melted off room & bottom of box was so wet it fell apart. My front door with big covered porch was 10 feet away.  Luckly I came home from work & found it.  If I was home I wouldn't have known because he didn't ring doorbell like they used too. No work ethic & lazy.

I called many times and did follow the tracking. that's how I found it was "undeliverable."

Re: Upset about lost package. CS made it worse

I used to oay for my own postage to avoid the whole return label "slows".....until I noticed that 1st class and even priority mail wrre slow, too.  Tracking would say "at destination" or something similar, but my refund took much longer.  I called the last post office location to be informed that they had an agreement with the Q to place all returns in a big bin or truck until it got full, then deliver to the Q.  So you could ship overnight via USPS and get your item chucked in the bin, where it could sit for more than a week.

Re: Upset about lost package. CS made it worse

I won't go on and on about my specific delivery issues with the United States Postal Service but I will say this. When I find out something is being delivered by the USPS, whether it be QVC or somewhere else, I cringe. Bad and slow. And if u even think of lodging a complaint - it's like a band of brothers - no one there will take the blame for errors. We get other people's packages, coupons that have long already expired, inserts that were stuck together that belonged elsewhere and packages far too large to be shoved into and hanging out of our mailbox (for anyone to ride by and take)  because the carrier doesn't feel like stopping and getting out of the vehicle to bring to my covered front door porch. And although I wasn't going to go there, but I'm on a roll.......a package I tracked, was home to receive from my mailbox the day it said "out for delivery"- - and then showed it was "delivered" - was not there. I can see my mailbox from my house and saw the postal truck putting mail in the box......and guess what? The package was not there. Called to complain and it was a "he said, she said" match. Forget it - terrible.....

Re: Upset about lost package. CS made it worse

I really recommend the no I posted. I tried every no I could find; this one did put me on hold for forty five minutes. But I'd been on hold with different nos all day.

It is a central no.; the woman who helped me was in the midwest.

She was able to locate the package through the tracking at the Carrier Center near me. I had the package in an hour.

I wasted two days listening to the Q CS.
