I ordered a Denim&co dress for an upcoming trip, BUT received a dress that isn't even sold on QVC, it's only sold on HSN. What is up?  I never would have believed that if it didn't happen to me.

QVC has always had issues like this.  It seems they think their things sell because of their fabulous hosts and not so much on quality, value and service these days.

Both companies share the same warehouses, so it's possible an order could have been sent by mistake. Contac5 5he social team with your item # and see if they can expedite an exchange. Qvcsocialteam@qvc.com

While unfortunate,  I can certainly see it happening considering the high degree of automation in shipping facilities. 

 

The Bethlehem warehouse was designed to service both QVC and HSN and, as noted, the other facilities are being converted to joint use.

 

A mere unintentional change in the bar code could cause this.  Almost 100% of the selection of the item from the shelf is computerized.  Real people don't pull the item.

 

I've received odd, unordered items from shippers as diverse as Amazon and J Crew.

 

Definitely not unusual or inexplicable.   AI will be in total control of your order shortly.

I've recently received incorrect items from Walmart - on more than one occasion.  Not a big deal.  Things happen.

Not long ago I received a pair of corduroy trousers in a shipment from Polo.  I didn't order them but they were my size!  It didn't show up on the invoice at all and I wasn't billed.

 

I contacted customer service and they said just keep them!

 

Every company keeps an account to handle things such as this.
