Seems like the post office has recently added a new layer of delay to our packages.  I've just in the past few weeks had this message apoear on my tracking:

 

Tracking Details

  • Jul 23, 2021, 01:47Shipment Delivered to USPS, Package Acceptance Pending

 

This was today which means they've been thinking about whether to accept it or not for 4 days.  Two weeks ago, they thought about one for 8 days.  I thought they had to accept all packages delivered to them, so why suddenly does it take so long?  It's just the good, old lazy summertime.  What's it going to be like at holiday time when they're actually busy?

pretty sure that this is the new NORMAL now for USPS......it will never be what it once was unfortunately.

 

long lines, missing mail,  missing packages, misdelivered packages, long wait times for first class and priority mail, increasing prices, lack of employees.

I've had that message as well. I currently have a package that was sent to KC Mo then to St. Louis where I am and now it's in IA ! I don't get that one !  I'm curious as to where it will land next before it finally gets here

I have a package from July 8 that has not even made it from UPS to USPS as of today/July 27.

I don't think it means they are "thinking about whether they will accept it" just that it's just sitting there waiting for someone to get around to it.  I have a number of them.  It's weird because I had two PLW items, one was shipped and scanned first and I'm still waiting for that one and that's the message I get, and the other was shipped next day and I've received that one already.

@Toots711    You need to contact the mods at QVCSocialTeam@QVC.com including your order # and have them either reship the item or refund.  Something is wrong.

@bcherry01   One thing that's so strange, some items zip right through while others that arrive at the same time just sit and sit.  I've given up trying to figure if there's any method to their madness.

I have had no issues will USPS,  but have the ently especially with UPS.    Just today checking my tracking on an item  @ Ups they statec my package had an occurrence and was sent back to sender , what !??  Who knows what that means .   Thankfully QVC CS made it right for me .   The other day delivered an item that clearly was broken you could hear it when it was picked up,   But they still delivered it  .   USPS has not given us an issues  ,  we do know our postman pretty well though so they could be a positive I guess.
