I have been on a wait list for a Dennis Basso coat for weeks. It finally shipped USPS (my choice). Today I checked the tracking. It shipped from Philadelphia to a sorting facility about 15 minutes from my house. I was really excited and looking forward to getting it. I just checked the tracking again and it is "out for delivery" hundreds of miles away from my house. After it left the USPS facility near my house it was shipped far away from where I live - and is OUT FOR DELIVERY!. Someone is going to receive a nice present for free. I called QVC customer service. The first person I spoke to said they couldn't help and I should call the post office - so I did. The post office people put in the tracking number that is on QVC's website and said it came up not a valid number. There is no way to stop this package from being delivered to the wrong address!! I called QVC back and they were very nice and said they would issue me a refund. I don't blame QVC for this mess - I blame the post office. What is the point of having tracking numbers if the post office can't track the package! I am really disappointed since what I ordered is now completely unavailable even on wait list. I just had to vent. I really don't blame QVC. I have all my packages sent through the post office since I have had major problems with UPS. Maybe I just need to stop buying things for awhile!
