My main issue is that UPS's tracking service doesn't work for me and hasn't for a couple of months now.  No matter the tracking number, it says they can't find it.  Luckily, I found a Global tracking service that tracks all the major shippers and it works great.

My issue with USPS was when tracking would say it was awaiting acceptance by my local facility.  What does that mean?  It's sitting outside?  Does it need a secret code to get in?  And it would sit there awaiting acceptance for days whenever that would happen.

There are a lot of complaints lately about our local USPS and also specifically about some of the mail delivery people in our area on the Nextdoor app.  But, my mail delivery person is great.  She drops packages off at my front porch if it doesn't fit in the mailbox and actually rings my doorbell.  I've seen her running packages to different houses.  She really works her rear off.

Man6 of my orders have been coming by UPS too and I'm not happy about it.  They always come after dark or are scheduled to come, then suddenly the delivery date is changed to the next day or they change the date and deliver it anyway.   I had 4 packages sit outside last week overnight because I didn't know they were there.

For me, I would have issues with both ups and usps. As long as it gets delivered without any damage, I’m happy. Also, most of the time my ups driver will ring the doorbell when they deliver my packages. Which I’m grateful for, because that’s how my daughter’s food and medical products get delivered. Even my postal carrier will knock on the door when they bring up a package.

USPS cancelled its contract with UPS on January 1. Ths means UPS delivers whatever they shipi. UPS no longer drops off packages at USPS for delivery.

FANTASTIC!!  For me USPS is always the slow boat!

I didn't know about the contract issue. I have had packages delivererd earlier by UPS however I have 2 packages on the way now but I'm getting messages that there is a delay in delivery from UPS due to weather. I just had fish sit at the UPS location here from 1/23 until delivery last night 1/27 after 8 pm, not happy about that ! Luckily the fish was still very cold and a couple pieces had ice on them and still a bit frozen so they were ok.  I do hope that's not the way things will go on a regular basis.

@Krimpette .  I agree.  They should be delivered during the day.

Hi! @Goodie2shoes

It’s NOT just UPS, as far as weather delays!!

We have an Amazon order expected to be delivered on Thursday, 1/23 it’s still not here because of the weather.

ALL delivery services have to deal with weather related issues. Remember Tractor trailers are needed.

I’m not mad about that either! Looking at what’s happened in NC and California makes me appreciate Everything more in my life!! 🤗🤗🤗
