Two packages were delivered to me at 11:30 am this morning...NOT.

UPS seems to have become very unreliable. This delivery (which did not happen) included two QVC orders sent in one package.

So...where are they?

I don't understand their system.

I can help you understand:  Their system (if they ever had one) has gone to hades in a handbasket!  They have no clue what they are doing.  We have had a driver that liked to say we weren't home and leave stuff at a shipping site.

We had one driver that just didn't deliver for a day or two longer as it suited him I guess.  They always hit our house on their way out of town, so sometimes they just shoot by.

We have a more reliable driver now, but that won't last long.  We hardly ever see the same one twice, and they hit our part of the neighborhood after they do commercial stores--and the 'hood across the street has all-day home delivery.  So go figure that!

UPS is Unreliable Parcel Service now.

@LTT1   In my area, ups won't deliver only one QVC package.  They turn it over to the USPS for delivery.  If there are 2+ packages, they say they're going to be in the area so will deliver it.  Maybe the USPS will deliver it tomorrow.

@Kachina624 That happens here and UPS marks it "delivered" and sends me notes when all they have done is drop it at the post office.

Sometimes the UPS notes say they didn't deliver because we weren't home, then it shows up a day or two later from the post office!

Sometimes Ups delivers the package to USPS for delivery.  When that happens, it says "delivered" but that means delivered to USPS.  It takes a day or two for them to deliver the package.

@LTT1  I always track my UPS packages at the UPS site. If the package is handed off to USPS, I click "View Details" at the UPS tracked site. That gives me a tracking number for USPS, and then I track the package at the USPS site. You might get more info that way. If they say it's been delivered, I'd give it an extra day or so before contacting them.

@LTT1

Sometimes UPS drivers mark packages as delivered in the A.M because they think they will be able to deliver them that day.  Ran out of time, who knows, but I believe you will get them if UPS is delivering them to you.

UPS does not deliver to me on weekends.  In fact, they shut down on Fridays, so if that's the case for you, you might have to wait until Monday or Tuesday for your packages.

Then again, depending on where you live, you might get them Sunday.

@Desert Lily @Foxxee

I really appreciate the info.

and I did wonder what to do about UPS handoff to USPS.

Also, I ran into the UPS driver in the mailroom where I live and helped him locate a lost package.
So far, it really seems to help when they actually know my face lol!

I wouldn't count on that far to long.

People nowdays change jobs as much as I brush my teeth.  Only the older people from yrs gone by believe in staying in any job.

I've gone thru 2 FNP's, 2 different dentists, 5 different USPS mail people, etc.  Nobody these days keep the same job for any length of time. Hop, skip around.
