My three jewelry purchases will have been accepted by my local post office for three days today and thru at least the weekend, maybe delivery Monday? So slow. The next level up was like $20 a piece, small jewlery packages. Qvc needs to review shipping practices again. Amazon consolidates packages so that shipping cost are reduced. It is very sad QVC that you are shipping from nearby North Carolina and it takes so long to get to me. I am guessing it will be 12 days. No one else that i purchase from has the shipping track record that you do. It is why i only purchase things from you that i can't find anywhere else.

Everything is slow these days. Guess we just have to get used to a new normal.

I don't know what's up with UPS innovations lately. They are slower right now than they have ever been. They have been just holding packages. Maybe the Q should find another shipping carrier that could get packages out in a reasonable time.

My son works for UPS. He is not a driver but one of the crew that works 3rd shift to prep the trucks and load them for next day deliveries. They have seen such an increase in packages since more people are ordering online. Our facility is a smaller one and they can hardly handle the number of packages that they see very day. They are not getting extra help and are working extra hours. He is seriously busting his butt to do the best job that they can during this pandemic. He comes home exhausted and basically crashes. give these people a break, they are working hard and trying to do the best job that they can. Nothing is perfect, it will never be everything to all people. I dread the thought of what Christmas is going to be like for them.....

@kittymom56 I appreciate the UPS, FedEx, and Postal Service workers, whether they do the sorting or actual delivery. It is one thing to know in your job that there is/are one or two peak demand times of year and to suddenly have it happen non-stop for several months is another.
So, kudos to your son and all those others in this vexing work situation. I hope they allow these folks to take some vacation time for mental and physical health.
I'm retired now, but the last place I worked--for 35 years--had twice yearly peak volume times in the year. A new unit director was hired (brand new to the non-profit) and he decreed that starting immediately we could not take ANY time off during these "blackout" periods, including sick time.
Fortunately, we were able to at least partially roll that back since we were unionized. We were able to prove that we always had more than sufficient coverage and had, as a unit, gone way above and beyond--even working Christmas and New Year's Eve (before there was a union or overtime offered for that and after it was mandated by contract.)
Again, my hat is off to your son!

I suspect some glitch when they hand off to USPS. That’s where I’ve seen a big holding pattern on a few packages I’ve tracked.

As far as I'm concerned, regular UPS continues doing an overall good job... Fedex needs a kick in the seat and always has and 'Innovations' is just ridiculous... As noted elsewhere on these forums, I live in Virginia and ordered a pair of readers from QVC... They shipped the readers via Innovations on the 26th and they've now made multiple stops in Virginia on their way to New Jersey, where they now reside, on their way, hopefully, back to me in Virginia... Makes no sense at all...

LOL...I had a package go right past where I live; from Florence SC along I-20 PAST Augusta GA an on to Atlanta GA. It never made it to the USPS and I never received it. Had to get a refund. Recently, I received a package on 3 June and sent it back on 4 June. Guess what? It has been sitting in the local post office waiting for the 'third party carrier' to pick it up. Once i let QVC know, they refunded my money.
I get that a lot of people are staying home and ordering online but that means you have to step up your game. Hire more people if you have to...goodness knows that there are people who need a job. If you don't want to hire more people, look at your processes and see how those can be improved. It gets very frustrating to order something only for it to languish in some UPS truck, warehouse or who knows where.

Maybe UPS needs to hire more workers. I feel for your son. The online shopping probably quadrupuled during this pandemic and its not fair for the workers to be so overworked when the company needs to spend money and hire more help. I have had 2 packages lost after they got to Innovations facility. They just disappeared! Got a refund but it is frustrating as this never happened to me before and I order a lot online. Also, tracking info has been wrong many times. My post office told me this! It has said they accepted packages and they said they never got the package and tracking was wrong. I mailed something back to QVC that was defective on June 18th, tracking was showing it left my post office and that was it. Now it says status not available. Frustrating from the standpoint that they used to be right on.

Agree, I have had lots of problems with shipping from UPS Innovations.
The shipping companies are making money like crazy with increased online shopping. There is NO excuse for slow shipping, lack of transports and not enough workers. Spend some of those profits on the reason for your success....the customers.
Kudos to the workers who are IMO needlessly short staffed.
Ditto QVC. While I have had nothing but the best from Customer Service the shipping and returns are terrible! Hire more people if that's the problem. There are a lot of good workers currently unemployed due to the pandemic. Use some of that high paid talent at the top to solve the shipping and returns problems............
