UGH...November TSV's and programming...

Obviously as we are getting closer to the holidays it's not surprising that more and more holiday shows will be filling the days as much as possible. Everyday will surely have something and the weekends will gear up naturally.

As you already know, Lisa is hosting her Christmas specials on Friday nights at 9:00 p.m. (EST) and they should be enjoyable.

Much of the other shows I'm sure will be filled with repeats of the same items we have witnessed throughout these past months since Christmas in July.

I've reviewed the TSVs through November and don't see any names or items in the line-up

that we haven't and don't see already throughout the normal weeks and weekends...more of the same...sigh.

I looked at the schedule in the Nov Insider last night and thought "Well, I won't be watching Q in November." The lineup stinks.

Re: UGH...November TSV's and programming...

The same list of names we've seen day in and day out for years. It's pathetic... And as for the holiday repeats, they don't just go back to CIJ, QVC has been offering these same tired things for the holidays for at least the past three years. I guess they never heard of product saturation. Honestly, it's almost as if someone is actively trying to run this company into the ground.

Sadly, once the holidays are over, the programming won't get any better. They'll simply continue with their predictable seasonal staleness, moving into diet and fitness and then into gardening... no doubt interspersed with the near-constant barrage of computers, blenders, vacuums, mattresses and, of course, an inordinate amount of time spent in that kitchen...

QVC needs to learn to better recognize that fine line between when predictability is comforting and when it's just so boring that people opt out... Yes, I do believe we're just about done here. There are never any surprises anymore and, well, as much as I hated to admit it to myself, QVC hasn't represented fun shopping for a long time. To be sure, sometimes we shop for necessities, but otherwise, shopping is supposed to be fun... and it no longer is, at least not here...

Re: UGH...November TSV's and programming...

I broke down and ordered the Candle Impressions Pine Cone Candle set this morning - first order since August 6 (except for the day I lost my mind and ordered the Dell TSV-then cancelled!).

Looks like my credit card is safe now for at least another month or two!

What we all need to do is just never turn our TV's on to QVC at all. If we allow it to rest on their station, we might get caught up somehow in the old rat race and purchase something we could live without.

We don't need to reward their neglect to us with this stupendous programming by purchasing their wares.

They've got to learn they are loosing us until they make the necessary and appropriate changes.

In November, did you see all of the computer and electronic TSV's ???? Sheesh !

Re: UGH...November TSV's and programming...

IMO what I find truly repetitive are the multiple daily threads & posts about the programming. The Q is NOT going to change programming based on what posters here write about daily. They just aren't. But to each her own.
