All this "outdoor" stuff....so much useless junk and at rip off prices...If you must have some of it you can get it for less at Dollar stores and other big discount places...

To each his or her own.  You have posted about various cosmetic items you like that I may find "useless" too.

@bargainsgirl   DollarTree has more and more items at $3, 5, or more - most of which aren't particularly good values on a per piece price.  If i were buying anywhere for display. nothing would come from DT except maybe crepe paper.  I've had several of their cute solar seasonal solar lights -  definitely cheap -  in price and value!

Years ago I bought two of those outdoor lounge chairs. Hardly ever use them and they are not that comfortable. I bought a hose once with head that had different water streams - pure junk. And I have purchased some flowers to plant that died. So I avoid all the outdoor stuff they offer.

@Puppy Lips   My outdoor lounge chairs came from Home Depot,  Like yours, not too comfortable and now they're leaving rust marks on the terrace concrete.  I've used them more to dry laundry flat than for seating!  They will disappear soon!

I do have a hose head I bought from QVC that has now outlasted 2 hoses.

Some people shop the Dollar Store. Some people don't.

@bargainsgirl

You called QVC junk products but prefer Dollar stores. OK so shop there without berating QVC.

I have several garden tools that I bought from QVC over the past few years; all excellent quality and better prices than I could get anywhere else (I did the research).

I also bought a kneeling pad/bench-style from HSN.  It's one of the best things I ever bought.  And it was half the price I would've paid anywhere else (same brand), with free shipping.  The quality is excellent.  Nothing at the Dollar Store would've come even close.

I tend to discount posts that generalize so much.  They don't, IMO, provide any useful information.

(I've bought things from the Dollar Store, but I tend to think of them as "cheap and cheerful", not meant to last very long.)

Re: Today's show theme

@bargainsgirl who hurt you? You took time and energy to post an overreaching generalized overstating incorrectly negative post. Makes me think you just hate "outdoor stuff" being shown instead of ...say... fashion. Sorry , no sympathy, empathy or affinity from me.

Too bad.

LIke clockwork, there will be similar myopic whiners complaining of todays all day culinary events.

Too bad.
