Kind of annoying that the IHKWIP Today's Special from just a few days ago is less expensive now, at a higher price, but with free shipping. I am not one to complain about free shipping, but the $7.50 shipping seems more of a rip-off today than it felt on the day of the TS.

I think that's happened a few times when the price of the TSV that had shipping added is only increased by a few dollars.

That happens often, but I too was just thinking about this one in particular because of the $7.50.

The shipping price could depend upon the size of whatever an item is in. I found that out several times when I was mailing things to a friend. Any box that wasn't a typical size the shipper used cost more, sometimes far more.

I have no idea what the TSV was so I can't guess what shipping was used.

Is this the TSV that zipped down to next to nothing? I think they are using S&H as a sneaky price increase.

This is the way it's been for years @LCYfromCincy . I rarely purchase anything without reviews. Most TSV's have no reviews yet. If I'm unsure about the item I will wait for a free shipping day, by then there are reviews. If the reviews are good enough, I can find it close enough to the same price as the TSV that I have no regrets about purchasing later.

I bought something from HSN a while ago that was a Today's Special. Less than a month later - maybe two weeks - it was suddenly at a lower price and still with free shipping.

I contacted them via email to ask WHY a TS was at a lower price and was simply told "So sorry. We strive to provide you with the best shopping experience..." blah, blah, blah.

And the usual "We have forwarded ..." No refund of the price difference though or explanation of why a TS was at a lower price. No explanation of any TS price guarantee.

It makes it less and less appealing shopping with either QVC or HSN, when you never know whether you're getting the best deal with a TS or TSV.

I think QVC goes week to week to see if they are making the xyz sales quota , if they haven't met the magic # then suddenly there's free shipping or some kind of " reduced " pricing .

As far as those IHKWIP bags , the price point is very high for synthetic bags , but you have Shawn who seems to promote certain vendors . Shawn alays is saying the bags could have a $100 in front of the $49-$79 .
