I shop for many things on the Q
Simply - certain phrases and sales techniques are tiring to hear
07-02-2018 09:47 PM
"It's super easy"..."it's super lightweight."

"The value story", "the color story", or "[Insert word here] story..."

"Don't overthink the size" or similar for the shade of a foundation. That seems crazy to me, when those are key elements.

Saying something has been "wildly popular"

I was waiting for someone to add the term "wildly". It drives me crazy and it is a buzz word the Q has taught all of its' hosts to use-from Sandra to David. It doesn't even make sense grammatically

And they all use the phrase. I do often have the Q on in the background so after awhile the repetitiveness grows old.

I live in California, the Bay Area specifically and I haven't seen anything chic.

I think the hosts do well to be able to talk for an entire show and leave no "dead air". Perhaps they use the same phrases as it is hard to come up with something to say on the spur of moment when there is so much time to fill and it is ad lib, not scripted. They don't always repeat the same thing over and over, but perhaps go back to what they are used to saying when stuck and time is dragging; you have to say something so they automatically go back to the familiar to give them a chance to think of what to say next.
Their job is harder than it looks - try it sometime - talk about something for an hour or two without leaving any unfilled pauses.
