Re: Three QVC Channels But Not Enough Products

They do say 3 is the way to go ...

oh, that’s right ... that is for decorating purposes 😂!

3 Q channels is just overkill. Yep.

There are three channels for Q, but not enough products to accommodate all these shows.

I ordered a very nice pair of tomato red pedal pushers from Susan Graver. The material was really nice, the style was great, and they appeared to be very well made. Checked her sizing chart and ordered accordingly. When they arrived, of course they didn’t fit. I went to the website to quickly order another size and....Sold Out! Not even a “waitlist” option. IT WAS ONLY THE BEGINNING OF APRIL and summer things are sold out already and NO waitlist! As you can see, I’m fuming. Smiley Very Happy

Today, tried to order the sea scallops that were on-air...Sold Out while I was trying to order online.

Why three channels if you don’t have enough product to supply all the people they’re reaching with three channels??

Q’s sizing charts are incorrect as well.

Just had to vent.

I always check the garment measurements and as others have noted they are not always correct.  I ordered D&C pants and SG pants and the measurements of the garment were different from what was stated.  I called CS and they told me to send the item back as defective.  Was refunded my money.

Re: Three QVC Channels But Not Enough Products

[ Edited ]

I gave up long ago when there were at least 8 hours of WII per day. I haven't turned it back on since.

There's the tired old line of how rare the Argon stuff is, and then they sell it by the super size daily for a month.

There's the silver that sells by the ingot for $15.00 an ounce that they charge old gold prices because there is someone's name stamped on it. And then add another $10.00 if it's plated, and by now the old timer's have learned plating wears off after awhile. So, when you tell me that a silver bracelet is worth $500.00 or more, I want to know what it is that makes it worth that. No workmanship isn't that much if it's something that isn't an origional. And Made in Italy is worth more to me than Made in China.

There's the kitchen stuff that either costs more than you will use it, or you are stuck buying 4 of. If you really use a $400.00 blender, good for you, but I keep my $30.00 blender in the basement because I don't use it.

Who can't use a new bed so let's try to sell those 4 or 5 times a year at the price of about a grand?

Everyone really "needs" to wake up to a full concert so there's a $500.00 radio. It may be down to $400.00 now that they have decided CD's are dead.

A computer "must" have tons of storage so we'll add 1 or 2 Tbytes of space. No one should miss out on that 400,000 photos of someone's grandchild. Sorry, I need speed, not tons of space. I don't run a business out of my home. And at .99 each those other 400,000 songs from Itunes will take awhile to pay off.

They just have nothing I need anymore. I shopped daily for 30 years, now I check to see what is on the 2 specials each day. Usually nothing there either.

Years ago I bought a $99.00 exercise bike. It was a good value and I still use it daily. But, they don't sell that basic of a machine anymore. Now, it has to have more stuff on it that really doesn't mean anything. So, of course, the mark-up is more.

I guess some of the food items are okay. I have bought a few. But, the cost per pound just isn't there for me. The stuff is handy to keep in the freezer and you can take it out and be prepared, but the cheapest items are still about $10.00 a pound. The slamon they showed last week was $30.00 a pound when you figured it out. They always give the per serving price and then compare what you would pay in a restaurant, but that's not a fair comparison since you get it served hot and with sides in a restaurant. What you are getting is a frozen lump of meat and then you do the cooking and buy the sides separate.

It just pays for me to shop somewhere else.

Only get one channel.  I rarely watch anymore.  I just go online and look.  If I truly want information about something then I tune in.  Cannot image why they need all those channels.

@kaydee50  What a great idea; glad it worked out for you. Maybe if enough shoppers read your post and return due to “defect” Q will get the message and fix the Size Chart!!!  I have read numerous complaints over the years about that very problem.

This “incorrect sizing” I just had with Susan Graver’s pedal pushers is not the first time I’ve experienced that situation with vendors’ clothing over the years. I usually purchase 2 sizes and return one. Wish I did that with this order.

I was just so angry because they were the perfect color of red, beautiful design, and very well made. According to Susan’s “Size Chart” I should’ve had an inch give on either side, e.g., say 34” inch hips, chart says order size ‘xyz’ which fits 34” to 36” hips. Not these!  I really love them, so I guess I better practice “portion control”. LOL 😆

@shopperqvc Don’t quote me on this, as they say, but look into the app “shoptagr”. From what I’ve read and heard, it’s supposed to be a great app for ALL kinds of shopping. Supposed to alert you if an item you’re watching goes on sale and a myriad of other things. I did download the app, just haven’t had an opportunity to check it out. Sounds fantastic.

@Mimi 1883.  Beware of Susan's pants.  I comfortably wear every other brand of Q pants but have never had a pair of Susan's pants that fit properly.  As far as I'm concerned the Queen of Pants is a big flop.

I love Susan Graver’s pants exactly for their fit.  They will surely not fit if you don’t buy the correct size.

Since the exact measurements are in the “click here“ for every item, it’s hard to go wrong. I know what waist, hip and inseam I need and I always check the “click here“ before I order.

@Bhvbum In case you didn’t read my post, I stated that I clicked on her “Size Chart” for measurements and made my purchase accordingly...And it still went wrong.
