Mk822, I think it depends on how well you know the couple. If it's family or perhaps a close friend then I'd consider a gift. Otherwise, a card. Enjoy!

So now we have to give the mother of the bride (not related) something? A gift for the engagement party!  Plus the couple will want something.

 

then a gift to the..............bridal  shower

bachelorette party

rehearsal dinner

bride breakfast (whatever this is)

wedding

anything else????

In the future, a baby shower gift and then a gift when the baby is born.
