Thank you so much for not just titling shows as "great gifts!"  I am an on line shopper and do look a few times a day to see what shows have been on.  If the say for example "holiday decor" or "cooking" I can tell if I want to review them or not.

Happy shopping everyone!

It's almost as if they don't what us to know what they're hawking...

Maybe they're embarrassed. They should be.

Not understanding why QVC would be embarrassed about their sales.

Thank you both for your thoughts.  I really hope someone from QVC will read this as well and keep the show titles discriptive!

Because their programming and product mix are and have been excessively repetitive, rather dreadful and boring for a long time and the array of dreary products they try to put out there as 'gifts' is ridiculous. As for 'sales' in the sense of bargains, they rarely exist and as for sales as a function of their success, indicators are their sales have been steadily tanking. One significant reason why is probably because they've consistently failed to act upon the repeated suggestions and requests of a significant portion of their customer base but instead have opted to adhere to a business plan that is pretty clearly outmoded.

I usually buy clearance in the lines that I like.  What I don't understand is why when I look I also get "as is" and I have requested some years ago that those items for those who will take a chance on them be in a completly different area.  No reputable department store that I know of sells used merchandise!  Maybe QVC could put them in their brick and morter stores if they still have them.  I'm in the Tucson area so I've never lived by or went to a Q store.  There are posts saying how poor the "as is" quality is.
