When I browse the QVC website, I see some really nice products and brands that I have never see on QVC programming.  Why is that?
I mostly look at kitchenware and I see some great pans and knives and so on that i have never seen QVC show on tv. The brands they show are almost always the same ones.

I am guessing that it costs the vendors something to be on the tv program? That's the only reason I can think of  as many of the brands/ items never shown, but on the website, are Customer Top Rated.

Just wondering......I realize someone will post that I shouldn't waste time thinking about this but.....I have time. I'm 80 have cancer and am homebound due to being immunocompromised. So I have time to think about things that others think are inane.
So, please avoid the mean responses.....thanks!  ♥

I suspect one of the prime reasons most items offered by QVC are not on air would be due to limited inventory availability.

If Q cannot get tens of thousands of an item at a reasonable to Q price the item won't be presented on air.

Thinking back to when Q did the 50/50 tours I recall hearing that participating vendors had to guarantee a minimum of 10,000 units available for shipment.

What is good for the goose today will also be good for the gander tomorrow.

Thanks, that's very possible.

I wonder how many of those new prism greenery items that Bethlehem lights had in stock. They were gone in minutes Sunday at mifnight.. But that's new technology, supposedly.
Thanks again!

They should do a show with all of those random items. Explore Your Style with Vanessa (and previously Katrina Szish's show), used to show a lot of fashion that you usually don't see, but then it changed to show mostly the regular brands.

I have heard many times, from many of the hosts, that there are hundreds of items that never get airtime due to there being so many things for sale and only 24 hours in a day.

Hope you are doing well---keep safe and I didn't think your question was inane at all!!

I wish they would do that too! And they could just say that there may not be  a large quantity of each item. It would be nice to see different brands.

Wow....but to never introduce a new brand to the on air shows is odd. I get kind of tired of the same old same old. But I'm sure they have their reasons.
Thank you. I just had my immunotherapy treatments last month so I have zero immunity. It kicks back the incurable  lymphoma but it is in the B cells which is also my immunity. But I'm thankful because it's kept me alive for 10 years with lymphoma.

@10000thnickname ---so very interesting at how treatment has come so far!! I am a 12 year survivor of stage 3 lobular breast cancer. Had surgery and chemo and radiation in 2012. Was officially declared cured by my onc dr 2 years ago. Am 70 this year. I remember those days of being told to stay away from the real world too. And I did what I was told even tho it bored me to tears. Again----much luck to you!!
