@Still Raining  That's why my son cleaned both of our dryers from inside and also the outside dryer vent with his strong shop vac. He also had a long wand attachment to do the job, but it didn't reach the entire length from the dryer only. Mine hadn't been done since before my husband passed away in 2005 and it was full of lint. He said theirs wasn't as bad, but certainly needed to be cleaned out.

@Group 5 minus 1     I think I have that.... and bought YEARS ago... it is a long brush( I still use it) and a flat thing that you slide under things....

I place my leaf blower tip in lint trap area and turn on. It seems to work for me.
