I ordered a watch back in January that I have been on waitlist for. I got an email from QVC stating that my item won't be back in stock until September. The next thing I know I get an email my order was shipped. I receive it and inside is a Carolyn Pollack ring! The invoice is for the watch I ordered but the item isn't. I had to go to the post office because there wasn't a label for UPS which would have been easier for me. Customer service assured me I won't be billed for the cost of the return, I'll see.

Re: They Sent Me The Wrong Item

Hi jordan....oh I had a similar situation, the outside label was my name and address, but inside was an order slip with someone else's name and address and a purse that I did not order......I called CS and told them I did not want to be charged for the return, and to PLEASE make sure they get the item to the right person....Ya know perhaps this is why the Q charges so much for shipping because of the misroutings....Wink

Re: They Sent Me The Wrong Item

I had the same thing happen to me at Christmas. I had ordered a B.Lights product and I received a Valerie musical egg. What really concerned me was the invoice inside was the other customer's invoice although the shipping label was mine. I called CS and asked if they could note it in the system what had happened. I had to call a few times to get this handled as my original order was never returned by the other person. Then, they got the refund wrong because they refunded for the egg and not my item.( which was more$). It took me quite a few calls but I finally got the correct credit. What a mess!

I've had a couple problems with as is items. One item was totally wrong and another was sent in a different color. Never had these types of problems until this year.

Re: They Sent Me The Wrong Item

In all my years of off and on shopping with 3 shopping channels, the only time I have had anything like that happen, Shop NBC, as it was then, sent me the matching anklet, instead of the Gold chain I had ordered.

Annoying, but, I could see how an error like that might happen, and it was very pretty. I was tempted to keep it and reorder the chain (maybe that was their plan {#emotions_dlg.lol}) but, I'm not much of an anklet wearer, so, it went back.

Everybody makes mistakes. Anytime there is a human involved...

When you think about how many thousands of orders that Q processes every single day, it's surprising this doesn't happen more often.

{#emotions_dlg.thumbup1} I would file this one in the category of "Stuff Happens." I have had very good experience with QVC Customer Service, so I would think that regardless of whether there was a return label included with the package, the shopper won't be charged/will be reimbursed/whatever.

I've received the wrong item two times in 4 months!! Getting so I'm almost afraid to open a package.

Re: They Sent Me The Wrong Item

I received my 1st EMPTY pgk today. It was BE primer, small pkg, & the pkg appeared to have been opened, so not sure what happened. Thank goodness, I got sweet lady at CS, said she would "re-fill" my order.
