I like all styles of jeans, except the huge bell-bottom types. 

 

I have all these:

  • skinny
  • straight-leg
  • boot-cut
  • flare (these are not bell-bottoms or wide-legs)

 

The only way I look good in wide-leg jeans is if the material is tencel (very flowy), which is not traditional denim at all.  I have these as well.

 

On dress-down Fridays, I wear straight-leg, boot cut, or the tencel wide leg jeans all the time.  Pair them with a chic jacket, faux suede Joan Rivers boyfriend shirt, or a nice sweater and it's all good.

Saw Susan Graver in the wide-leg crop pants. They were about 5" above her ankle, and she wore a flowy top with them. Her legs looked short, and she looked dumpy. It just was not a good look on someone 5'4" tall.
