Has anyone else notice this?

The buy-more pay-less used to be $5.00; now it's $3.00

And the shipping has gone from zero to $3.00.

Who do they think they're fooling?

A “switcheroo” is when a merchant declares one price or policy or product type and then, in actuality, changes the deal after the customer makes the purchase. That’s switching with deceit or subterfuge.

What QVC has done, over time, is a “changeroo”, to keep your vernacular. You know their policy or pricing and, yes, it’s different now than previously, but it has been announced, defined and declared for customers to be aware of. If customers do not approve, they should not make a purchase.

No no one is being duped. You buy at QVC with eyes wide open. Or don’t buy. But they don’t switcheroo or deceive as you have averred.  If you stay aware, you aren’t deceived. That’s what caveat emptor is all about.

I don't find the price changes at all odd.  Seems to me they're up in many places -  and even more often for necessities than for purchases I can put off for a while.  I'm willing to wear old clothes so I do do, but tell me how to put off buying TP please.  I swear that price has doubled from not all that long ago.  Talk about money down the drain!

Some have always been $3, some have been $5.  Of course if it's a garment, your shipping increases by $3, so you're not really saving anything.  They think we can't add and subtract.

The only clothing shows I watch are D&C and they no longer offer buy 1, get $4 (sometimes $5) off any additional purchases of the same item. Now down to $3.  No thanks.

How about when something is on sale, but when you add the S&H, it is only a few dollars less (I have seen $1 less several times and once it was the exact same price).

Also one of the hosts always adds the S&H AND tax when she is discussing the "savings," but never mentions the S&H and tax that gets charged on the current price.  Also when the "and change" is 99 cents when something is priced at $49.99.  Only one host doesn't do this and I believe it is Jayne.  She gives the full price including the "change."

Although I’m not happy with the price increases on clothing and revised shipping and skimpier pricing policies, Q has always been upfront about it’s charges. And CS has always handled any issues promptly and with courtesy.

The only thing I order from QVC these days are a hand full of Philosophy products, in sizes I can't get other places.  QVC's outrageous shipping, and high prices have driven me away.  I'm sure they won't miss me, and other people who don't care if they are taken advantage of will still order.  I view their outrageous shipping, and the recent rise in prices as the ultimate slap in the face.  I can plan purchases and get free shipping at all the other places I order from.  Almost always the price is cheaper for the exact same item.  For you folks who like easy pay, go to the Dooney web site, they offer it for several of their handbags, and the bag will ship for free, not $12!

The buy more save more hasn't even been in effect for several years.  And it used to be more than $5.  It was different depending on the product.
