Thought you were talking about Justin ... he's perfect for QVC, soft spoken, knowledgeable.   Have not seen John yet, but WOW after seeing his photo, I'll be watching-!

These males hosts are terrific! Smooth in delivery and volume, prepared and know their products (no "speak to me about this . . . "), politely engaged with others in conversations, NO interruptions!, not self-absorbed with the camera, and talented. They are a joy to watch and/or listen to for the entire hour! It's been a very long time since I've been able to do that (or wanted to do so). 

Steve remains one of my favorites, an outstanding host, but these men may also have an open door when Mary Beth, Leah and others retire!

I look forward to watching Steve, and these new men, rise at QVC rather than the Over 50 females who have run amuck with drama, noise and name-dropping in 2024.
Ali Carr tries to maintain a calm demeanor and usually does, but QVC's management seems to pressure long-time hosts to perform louder and obnoxious behavior. PS: It's not conducive for viewers to buy more!

John's musical credentials in regional theater are quite robust: Jersey Boys, Beautiful,  Tina the Musical, Grease, Hairspray and more.

He even won a singing competition on The Kelly Clarkson Show two years ago.

I hope that QVC showcases his singing talent on air very soon!

@They CallMe MRWILKES   They did.  John sang during that Christmas Weekend where QVC was live for 53 hours.  It was on their Livestream.  John, Melissa, and Julia all sang (separately) Christmas songs.  It was part of a contest. Harry Slatkin and Kathy Levin had to pick the winner.  Of course they decided they all won.  It was fun. 

It would be really nice if QVC did a Christmas concert video and put it up on their QVC+/HSN+ channel.

Those opposed to the concept of "shoppable entertainment" must be (or will be) horrified!

@Estellee   Yes, they both said they've sung all over the world in their past experience.  I didn't know Julia sang.  Melissa has sung before on her social media, and snipets in a couple of her QVC shows.  Gorgeous voice.
