At least one new host started today on Q2, during the Holiday Decorating show.  Sharon Faetsch is the host, but Ali Carr came on to present the Hookless shower curtain with the vendor Greg Lawrence.

Ali Carr was also on a few days ago with Mary Beth.  I guess she is the one getting pushed out, I mean introduced first.

I think that there was a mass stampede out of the host lounge looking for the nearest voice coach.

I didnt see, but good for her.

Maybe the new hosts will speak with correct pronunciation, speak peoples full names without shortening them ( we all know about that) , speak in a comfortable calm tone, and be informative without talking mindless sense. Theres a concept.  !!!!!

Hope that continues!  Sadly, that is something that is lacking in the majority of QVC hosts.

I just viewed the video of the hookless holiday shower curtains. Ali seems like a natural-- pleasant voice, nice personality, and professional demeanor. Some hosts are over-the-top, while others appear to just be going through the motions. Ali seems to have genuine enthusiasm, and enjoy her new job. I think she's going to do well.
