It is sad that we no longer see Meridith Lawrence.  She is a true chef and loved listening to her share her knowledge.

@Suneshine   I agree. I always enjoyed her too...and ITKWD was a much different show then too!

I loved years ago when she had a show built around teaching then host Dave King how to cook.  She really took the lead for the hour.  It was educational and not hard sell.  I don't need someone telling me every 60 seconds how many sold, colors and quantity of each.   Sorry to say but that is most of David's presentations at this point.  He was not like this years ago.  Quite frankly, all of the tenured hosts were much easier to listen to years ago.

I agree.  She actually cooked!  Miss her shows. Did she leave to start her own cookware business?

Blue Jean Chef Meredith has a website with recipes, videos, and links to her products.  I receive e-mails which I enjoy because I get ideas of new things to try.  I have asked questions on a recipe which always gets a reply.

I think Meredith had the type of personality and demeanor that wasn't going to talk a mile a minute, interrupt at every turn, and jump up and down trying to sell stuff like the building's on fire! Good for her. She and others like her are missed.

And the frenetic nonsense selling that is going on now is irritating at best. Woman Frustrated

I also liked  watching her, but watching would be my key word.  I don't have anything in my kitchen I bought from her.    QVC survives on shoppers which makes me think DV is reminded every few minutes which sales lines are working best that day that time.

I definitely recommend the Blue Jean Chef's website and e-newsletters; they offer a ton of interesting information and tasty recipes. I also recommend her sheet pan set—the quality and sizes are great. The really large sheet pan is especially nice and useful. After seeing mine, my mom and all of my sisters bought the set as well.
