I just received a small lantern with a candle . I was doubtful when my package made a broken glass sound. Well the glass was indeed broken and kind of stuck inside the lantern. Then when I set it down on bottom corner was bent, it's metal. Now this could be a delivery issue except there was no candle. Have I ever told you how much I hate returning things ? Well I carefully removed the broken glass, took pliers and tackled the bent foot. Then I found a battery candle  that fit in the lantern. Not an ideal situation , but I saved the dreaded ( to me ) return.

anytime i have received an item that contained broken glass or a bunch of broken ceramic pieces, i have just been told to discard and they issued me an immediate refund or have sent out the item again at no charge.

A PARTIAL refund? It should be refunded in FULL.... no questions asked! Unacceptable.

@Susan-QVC Yeah I know it's not my business but a partial refund for a defective product that was not only bent but broken? Really? A no candle included? That makes no sense.

That's so bogus.

@QVCkitty1 , I was just going to tell you to call CS. I ordered a VPH lantern for my sister for Christmas. As soon as I picked the box up I knew it was bad news. I didn't even open it because I didn't want broken glass all over. I called CS and they gave me a full refund immediately and told me to throw the defective lantern in the trash as they didn't want it back.
