I am so glad that Jayne Brown called out that "nude" is not nude for all skin tones. I was wondering if she or Leah or anyone else was bugged by that and was happy to hear her call it out on the Earthbrand Shoes presentation this afternoon.

Anyone remember Kelly Repassy?

Years ago, she referred to "nude" as your shade of nude.

That has stuck with me ever since I heard her say that.

How intelligent - and inclusive.

I miss her as a host.

I used to call her Big Red.  She was a fabulous host.

There was another red haired host named Rachel Huber and I called her Little Red.

Yes!  Kelly was so cool.  I really liked her.

I never even thought about the reference to "nude" before.  It's enlightening to see things from a different perspective!

Well there's actually no such color as nude.

It’s bothered me for years.  “Skin tone” works too.

I agree @Annabellethecat66

I never considered "nude" as a specific color, but any shade that matches your own color.

That's what my dictionary says about the word 'nude' used to specify a color.

"Having a color that matches the wearer's skin tone."

So 'nude' is a variable shade.

...  Come to think of it, so is blue or orange or green....
