Since I already get email alerts from the Q about order placement, shipment, and returns using its labels and can access them on my phone, I don't see this as a huge deal. I can understand how it might be a bit inconvenient for some, but I'm guessing the change will be fairly simple to adapt to.

I don’t understand. Why take away a service that many customers clearly like? It makes no sense to me.
I never opted for text alerts, so I don’t care, but I feel it is bad business to eliminate a service that some customers have come to rely on.
Why???

You mean I can't get a text telling me why my packages are shipped to California when I live on the East Coast? Two in the last week alone! Oh well ... I liked that service and cannot understand why they are terminating it.
