I have been very upset with Temp-tations lately. I have purchased a lot from them in the last couple of years and my color is now discontinued. I couldn't understand why? I had to email Temp-tations to find out that my color of spice is discontinued. I was told to pick another color. Tara doesn't even address the issue and talks about her new colors. If she looks at what is remaining, it is those two wonderful colors she raves about. It would be nice for her to adress the color issues. Many people are complaining about their color not bring offered in there pattern anymore. Plus the last couple of seasonal orders I placed have been horrible. Where is quality control,? Sorry, I just had to vent.

@Trmit I don't buy that line myself but I've seen this same complaint before. But honestly I wouldn't expect a vendor to discuss something she no longer carries.

She wants to sell what she has *now*.

@Lovemygrandkids - you are so correct. It's terrible when you like a product or something and they change it or discontinue it. I just wish they were upfront about it.

Usually when an item is discontinued, it's because it isn't selling well.  Hot sellers go on forever.  Do you expect Tara to announce, "we discontinued spice because it was a dud?". Perhaps you can pick up new pieces from other sources.

@Trmit Why in the world would any vendor talk about something they no longer offer? That 's just ridiculous. Time to let it go.

My choice was Spice also.  I had (2) 9 x 13 dishes crack from the oven.  I decided  I won't purchase anymore temptations because they are made in China.

I also like spice best and noticed its never there lately.  Its not fair to discontinue a color when we're trying to build a set.

There is a lot of "Spice" color Temptations on E-Bay.....along with many other colors....and today you can pay just like easy pay ( over time) on most items..or just use your own credit card....

I think this is a sales tactic that a lot of vendors use that sell items in colors....like Le Creuset, for instance. All of a sudden some colors no longer appear, so I think they make it sound urgent to Buy Now to get it while you can. While QVC usually sells one peice at a time of that cookware, LC site sells the whole line....so buy it NOW before it disappears!!!

That, and some colors don't sell well, so they make room for the new.

Maybe try a new color that will contrast or even make your spice collection stand out?

I agree with other posters who say...it's NOT very well made at all. I always hold my breath when the vendor goes to the oven and removes a huge baker full of boiling hot lasagna and walks it to the display counter....if that ever broke, she'd be in the burn ward.

IF you no longer use your Temptations to cook in...don't toss it if it hasn't broken in two....use it under plants or to put flower pots in in the patio ( the bowls). I get lots of compliments on my "flower pots'!!!!

I am also very disappointed with Temp-Tations.  I am sure it is more economical to limit the colors, but for those of us who have shopped the floral lace in the past and were looking forward to doing so in the future, it is just no longer an option.  Tara Tesch (forgive incorrect spelling) has lost my business forever.  I planned to gift my niece a nice baking set for her wedding, but it is no longer available in her favorite color.  I used to recommend Temp-Tations, but I will no longer do so.
