I was watching HSN's Helen Keany the other day and she is in her 60's. I think she looks younger for two reasons, hair and makeup. She is quite natural. No heavy makeup or harsh hairdo. Some of the QVC older hosts wear too much eyeliner and have severe or outdated hairstyles. Anyway I think Helen gets it right. And I know I'll get blasted for this viewpoint, but thought I would take the chance.

Thank you for bringing this to my attention because eyeliner and how hosts wear it is very important to me.

I concur!👍 Helen is a class act!I do not think you should be criticized for your opinion, just as those of us who disagree with it should not be critized.😊 They are merely opinions.😁 Believe me, there are those who agree wholeheartedly with you and have made similar observations before! Some customers will think the makeup and hair may be a bit too much, but I do not make my buying choices based on it! I am MUCH more interested in the product and specifications.❤

I do not like to compare the outward appearance of the hosts because I do not think it is fair.😊

I agree with you completely.  I think Helen looks very young for her age, I thought that years ago, and she still does.  Her makeup is quite natural, and I think she is very pretty.

She has a nice, natural personality too.

I like Helen too. My favorite host on HSN.  Great personality, clearly presents the merchandise.

When she's on air the time flies by because she keeps it interesting.

She was very close to former host Brett Chuckerman, who I also enjoyed.

She frequently mentioned how Brett trained her when she had lost a significant amount of weight and how close they were.

I miss that guy.

I agree with you! I couldn't believe it when Helen mentioned she just had a birthday in June and said her age. I think 63? Anyway she does look great, and I enjoy watching her.

I've always liked her too. I think she has always looked very young and probably will always look younger than her years. Some people do-great genes.

I don't think it has to do very much with her makeup. Her hair and makeup are very pretty but I think what makes her look so young is just because she has always looked that way.

Also she acts very natural and happy and very easy to watch. She has a young spirit to go along with how she looks.

Helen turned 62 in June.

Did you know that Helen is also a stand up comedienne? she does standup often in clubs in FL, etc.. I have read her routine is not for prudes or faint at heart. I found a snippet on line which is Helen doing a routine about using Cologuard. Funny !!!

I think it makes a huge difference if your face is fuller like Helen. Added weight fills out your face more.

I am thin with no fat in my face so I have wrinkles that show up.

Years ago I took steriods for a long time and my face looked great with the added weight I gained. As soon as I dropped the med and weight I noticed a big change in my face.
