Every morning I check "What's New Today" and this morning I noticed that there were two TSV's and the one from yesterday said it was valid for 3 more days.  Are TSV's now TWSV (This Week's Special Value)?  Is this something new or did I just miss something that was announced a while ago?

I think it may depend on how well they did.

A few months ago they announced that TSVs wouldn't be announced ahead of time, but I don't think that plan was terribly successful.  They seem to be releasing that information early again.

Today's TSV, Clark shoes, which I think would be comfy, are tempting to buy.   I love the colors.  However, I just can't justify riskiing $5.50 to ship to me and the possibility of shipping back for $6.95 just to try them on.  I think I will put that $12.45 toward a pair on Zappos or Amazon where shipping both ways are no added cost.  The Q is not competitive on shoe shipping.

@Melzie  I remember seeing an announcement in the webpage that they were changing the policy to make the TSV available a day early, which seems to be happenning now, with today's sandals and an insulated tote that I guess is tomorrow's TSV available now.  They both state the price will continue to be available for 3+ days, but I also see yesterday's TSV the Muk Luk pajamas are not available at the TSV price, went up to a "clearance" price, from $23 to $26.  And I don't think the Sunday tsv, i think a shark vacuum, is available at the tsv price either, so I don't think you can count on tsv prices being generally available beyond the date, based on these experiences.

That being said, I don't sweat the tsvs because they are not the great deals some of them used to be.  There are still great deals every once in a while but that is rare.

I see the best discounts in beauty sales that I am not sure when they start and when they end, but sometimes items at 50% or other significant amount off for a limted time.  I don't think these sales go on air.  I just check online periodically and have found some great deals.

Thanks for the info and I agree that TSV's are not always that great but I wanted a specific pattern and didn't want to miss out on it if I waited. I was surpised to see it the following day too.  I wouldn't be surprised if it showed up in a day or two with free shipping.  :-)    It's frustrting that they keep changing their policies.  It's not the best way to keep customers.
