Pat is on now and I like her, but I am so tired of trick phrases.  I have heard this all morn.  "Get it now because the  price is going up at the end of the day.  I turned the TV off.  I can shop at Macys all day and never have to listen  to that phrase, and get free shipping.

Am sure the " prices  going up "  is not a trick  as QVC yo yo's pricing all the time. What gets me is most of the time you are lucky if something is just $3-$5 cheaper than what they usually sell  the item for

I don't understand where any "trickery" is involved.

If an item is advertised at a "One Day Only" price, that seems fairly self-explanatory to me.

Macy's frequently advertises Only One Day sales and events on its website and app as well as in-store.

I stopped watching a while back and I am telling you it worked out for me.  Glad I did too.  Got tired of hearing the hosts and spending  money foolishly at times as well.  Not always a waste, but the Q does not carry the items that use to be so unique or as competitive like they were back in the day.

Times change and so have I.  Just not me any more is all.

I wouldn't want that job and I bet  they get tired of saying it as well.

There is no trickery. Good grief prices go up
And down everywhere all the time. I think you are taking this far too seriously.

I've learned to buy it now if I like it because it may not be there tomorrow.

@dmeasy  Speaking of Macy's, today they have a countdown clock on their website for a summer sale for 20% to 50% off.  The clock is currently at 17:01:45, and counting.

Obviously Macy's website doesn't have the audio to tell you that.  How is that different from Pat being able to actually tell you virtually the same thing without you even having to check the QVC website or even look at the TV screen?

@They CallMe MRWILKES   Except that Macy's "One Day Sales" typically last for 3 or 4 days.

QVC "sales" are a joke.
