Yes, all presentations are too long which leads to a bunch of personal stories and silliness. How much can you say about one product? It's ridiculous.

@tends2dogs Agree 100%. IMO ALL presentations should only be a couple of minutes long. If you need more info, go online. Should be showing at least 10 to 15 items an hour.

It's very annoying when there's a product that comes in several colors. They go on and on about the different colors before they show its features or how it works. They need to talk about the colors briefly and then move on.
It's like the color of an item is the MOST IMPORTANT point of any item whether its cookware, a blouse, a pair of jeans, or a vacuum, or a Halo Charger---they repeat the colors over and over but ignore and skip more important product details----is it because that's the most reliable thing to go to when a host runs out of things to say....OR....does it have to do with sales psychology when they think they convinced the viewer to make the purchase and now the only thing left to decide is THE COLOR????? We will never know 🤔
Whats a bit amusing is that the host goes over the colors so much the viewer at home knows the colors better than the hosts sometimes 😂
Whats interesting when you go online to find out more about the item a lot of times there are questions posted but never answered that SHOULD HAVE been covered in the presentation instead of going over THE COLORS again and again!!! To me that shows QVC where presentations can be improved ![]()

But the risk they run is if they previewed something that will be coming up later in the show that you were really interested in, but the TSV "infomercial" took so long you lost interest and didn't stick around to hear about the item you really liked and may have purchased....there goes a potential sale

I'd add that given financial reports, maybe they need to move beyond that Intro to Marketing course. For myself, I regularly turn off when the presentations go on for too long, which is almost always, even for the most mundane of products shown regularly like, well, most of them lately,

If viewers are just channel surfing during a commercial while watching sports or another program and thats the only item they will see on a sustained sales pitch, and if that item is of no interest what did they gain by highlighting one item.....if there are a variety of items may be there would be one that will resonate with a potential buyer.....🤔

The boring things are always an hour-long presentation (tech, mattresses, vaccuums, appliances).

TOTALLY agree!! And just imagine the poor host who needs to talk about ONE item for an hour. Crazy and BORING!!! I find that some times HSN spends way too much time on one product as well...I just change the channel.
